NOT ALL EDUCATION IS CREATED EQUAL

The mainstay of our BASILEIA BEST SCHOOLS (“BEST” as in Balanced Education for Sustainability and Transformation) is BASILEIA INDUSTRIAL UNIVERSITY (Liberia’s first and premier Faith-Based Tuition-Free Work-Intensive Polytechnic University); which requires Supervised Student Labor (related to each Academic Major) instead of Traditional Student Tuition Plan … as a creative approach to poverty reduction and final eradication throughout the Republic of Liberia. As a nation-building institution of higher learning, we are intensely driven by Responsible Faith that counts the cost: “Suppose you want to build a tower. You would first sit down and figure out what it costs. Then you would see if you have enough money to finish it. Otherwise, if you lay a foundation and can’t finish the building, everyone who watches will make fun of you” (Luke 14:28-29, GWT).

Therefore, backed by some contributors to THE GIVING PLEDGE — and true to the Divine Mandate, “Make the Community Livable Again” (Isaiah 58:12, MSG) — our BASILEIA COMMUNITY OF FAITH (partners, students, faculty, staff and volunteers) will help transform post-conflict Liberia into what one of the most successful and productive Presidents of Liberia had envisioned upon his deathbed: “A WHOLESOME FUNCTIONING SOCIETY” — Dr. William Richard Tolbert Jr. (1913-1980); 20th President of the Republic of Liberia (1971-1980)

KINGDOMLAND (More Information Available) — Major donation covers all 200-acre tract of rich agricultural land earmarked for University Project; and will finance land purchase, surveying, deeding, total development (including airport, roadways and basic amenities), and also help create land trust for legal protection of the entire property and citadel of learning.
GIBRALTAR SECURITY (More Information Available) — Major funding will finance development of the strongest possible public safety and security structures and systems surrounding all 200-acre tract of land containing University Project. Named for the famed Rock of Gibraltar (1,398 feet above sea level), our Gibraltar Security System will include Basileia COPS (Community Organization for Public Safety) and fully equipped security guards (“Watchmen On The Walls”); and is designed to secure and protect precious lives, property, infrastructure, and substantial investments for God’s glory and human dignity.
BASILEIA-BASSA HIGHWAY (More Information Available) — Major funding will add Donor’s Name to the proposed Basileia-Bassa Highway; a state-of-the-art, two-lane divided highway connecting the “Planned University City” with the City of Buchanan (Grand Bassa County, Republic of Liberia) located on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean (a direct sea route between Liberia and the United States of America).
