BASILEIA EXISTS TO MAKE A SEVENFOLD IMPACT FOR GOD’S GLORY:

HUMANITY

SERVING ALL PEOPLE WITHIN REACH — “Right now…every time we get the chance, [we] work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith” (Galatians 6:10, MSG).

HOUSEHOLD

EMPOWERING DIASPORA FAMILIES — to succeed and sustain themselves as instructed in God’s Word: “Build houses and make yourselves at home. Put in gardens and eat what grows in that country. Marry and have children. Encourage your children to marry and have children so that you’ll thrive in that country and not waste away” (Jeremiah 29:5-6, MSG)

HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH

ESTABLISHING A DIASPORA HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH — wherever possible and necessary; so that God-seeking “global citizens” (both strangers and their hosts) may reconcile with their Creator as it is written: “When you call on Me, when you come and pray to Me, I’ll listen. When you come looking for Me, you’ll find Me. Yes, when you get serious about finding Me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed…I’ll turn things around for you” (Jeremiah 29:12-13, MSG).

HOSTLAND

SERVING OUR HOSTLAND — as the LORD has commanded us: “Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile…because if it prospers, you too will prosper” (Jeremiah 29:7, NIV).

HOMELAND

EXTENDING A HELPING HAND TO OUR HOMELAND — not forgetting our own struggling people as God’s Word commands us: “Do not hide from relatives who need your help. Go home to your own people and tell them how much the LORD has done for you, and how He has had mercy on you. Great gifts mean great responsibilities; greater gifts, greater responsibilities” (Isaiah 58:7, NLT; Mark 5:19, NIV; Luke 12:48b, MSG).

HABITAT

FAITHFULLY ENGAGING AND INVESTING IN CREATION CARE — with primary focus on the host communities and the homeland, as God instructs us: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for…every living thing that moves on the face of Earth. You’ll use the old rubble of past lives to build anew, rebuild the foundations from out of your past. You’ll be known as those who can fix anything, restore old ruins, rebuild and renovate, make the community livable again” (Genesis 1:28 & Isaiah 58:12, MSG).

HEAVENWARD

REMAINING FOCUSED ON OUR HIGHER CALLING — by faithfully pursuing our primary mission: Preparing the HEAD, the HEART and the HANDS (2 Timothy 2:15 & 3:16-17; Romans 12:2; Exodus 35:31-33) so as to live out the true meaning of Responsible Faith: “Make it your goal to live quietly, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands…so that you may win the respect of outsiders, and have need of nothing. You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind” (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 & Matthew 22:37,39, ISV).
